- - This is the difference between the power of love and anything else, particularly evil: that you can go into a pitch black room full of evil, full of darkness, and light a little candle - and instantly, that darkness flees - but you can t do the opposite. You can t go into a well-lit room full of truth, wisdom, righteousness, love, joy, peace, patience kindness, health, and harmony, with the universal power. You can t take any amount of darkness and go into that well-lit room and have any effect whatsoever. Good always wins. Evil and or negativity will never overcome good. That is the metaphor that I frequently think of when at times I feel powerless or not empowered. It is the greatest lesson for me and I think for everybody to know that we are on The Winning Side and that love wins in the end. - - What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as who you become by achieving your goals. True bodybuilding is about building the heart and mind. The body just follows. Having a hard time achieving your body goals? Well that s a reflection of your mind or heart or probably both. Winter is coming but I️ decided 2 weeks ago I’d start being healthier. Here’s me at 191.2. I️ gained weight, but I️ look leaner than I️ did when I was 188 last month. My goal for the winter is to recover my physique I lost over the past 11 months from eating unhealthy and not training as hard as I️ used to. I’m working harder than ever and I’m motivated.

Lower body day killed me ☠️. Was fairly ambitious today again. 335 for my 5x5 on squats wasn t bad, but deads after killed 😫. Wanted 385 for 5x5 but only managed 3 sets. Had to drop the weight down to 365 for the last 2 sets. Core literally felt like it was gonna explode lmao. - Hit some abs and cardio earlier today which prob didn t help. Also l, it s been about 3 months since I ve stopped using a belt on deads/squats. Trying to grow my waist lmao 😂 jk (myth). Just feel like it will make me stronger in the long run. - Sometimes I throw a belt on when doing isolation movements for back. Idk it mentally just helps me feel the muscles more some days 🤔.
