Ever heard of
#halfsquats? No I’m not talking about pussy squats where you only bend your knees only slightly that your legs are not even parallel to the ground 🙅🙅 This is the half-way squat I’m taking about: Go all the way down and get up without locking your knees out. We are trying to keep the quads tensed throughout the exercise. I really love to do a few sets of these half squats for warm-up before getting into the working sets with full range of motion. I worked up to a set of 5 reps with 260 kg / 572 lb, then went up to this top set of 3 reps with 273 kg / 601 lb and then dropped down to 250 kg / 550 lb for a set of 6 #powerful reps.
