This type of #isometric #exercise seems to help with the #parkinsons in that it forces the brain to hold that body position! A good prep for #skiseason . I decided this morning was a good time to experiment with front #halfsquats down to a 22 box. I worked up to this set of 3 reps with 455 lb / 207 kg after a powerful set of 5 with 405 and a triple with 440. These are quad killers and ab killers! #justkeepsquatting

Legs and Booty day and it killed me!🍑 I learned how to squat and deadlift with a squat bar but I ve been loving the Smith machine and all the workouts I ve been doing!! Fun to switch it up! Single Straight leg dead lifts are always fun and hip thrusting 105 with my hardest resistant band was 🙃a little Shakey to say the least. And the last work out definitely challenged me! I ve noticed my soreness has been decreasing the more I do these exercises but definitely still sore!

Ever heard of #halfsquats? No I’m not talking about pussy squats where you only bend your knees only slightly that your legs are not even parallel to the ground 🙅🙅 This is the half-way squat I’m taking about: Go all the way down and get up without locking your knees out. We are trying to keep the quads tensed throughout the exercise. I really love to do a few sets of these half squats for warm-up before getting into the working sets with full range of motion.
