SWIPE RIGHT to see why I train top speed with most of my athletes. In this Before/After video of @calwlax commit @mckenicar you can see a huge difference in her mechanics. On her first day (1.16s flying 10yd) she was a heavy heel striker and unable to support the force of her body. You can see her hip levels sink upon foot contact. In the after video (1.10s flying 10yd) you can see she lands on the balls of her feet and she is noticeably more springy. Her hip levels rise after foot contact which will allow for a higher hip height at the start of her next foot contact. When your hips are higher at ground contact your foot lands underneath your center of mass (as opposed to out in front) enabling for a faster ground contact. For info on this topic, research the tutorials of Charlie Francis.

Very good performance yesterday agains French academy side RC Lens (London set up). We are privileged enough to be the only team from grass roots football in the Nike London Youth league. The boys work hard day in day out and have all been with me up to 6 years now. Results are nice but more so putting each and every play on a platform to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a pro is our aim. Something I worked very hard towards as teenager and missed out on.. but trying to be the difference with these lads 👊🏼 If you are currently a year 11 message me for our information on our full time academy @pfaukacademy with a platform of playing in the Ryman youth league & FA youth cup @hyufc_academy & Nike London league (Hanwell Academy). Our aim is to take you to the next level 👊🏼 #progression #london #jackgostelow24 #sportsperformance #youth

It s been a pleasure journeying with this young man over the past 8 weeks and helping him achieve his dream of playing D1 baseball! He s one of the hardest workers I ve ever coached and is always willing to put in what it takes to make his dreams come true. I have no doubt that he will achieve this dream as well as so many more throughout the course of his life. Hard work pays off!

Saw this great post from @chrisabeardsley - thanks ‼️ #Repost @chrisabeardsley (@get_repost) ・・・ Strength is specific, and this can be used to predict the transfer effects of different exercises. In this case, Nordic hamstring curls increase eccentric-specific strength in a anteroposterior force vector, in stable conditions, with extended hip and knee angles (moderate hamstring lengths), and increase the muscle size/strength of the hamstrings. *Make a straight line from your heels to your head.* 👇 I m a huge fan of @trxtraining inverted rows not only because of the great upper back training they provide, but also because they challenge core control at the same time. 👍 Unfortunately, a lot of folks will let the ribs flare up, head to slide into a forward head posture, or knees to hyperextend. 👎 All of these are extension-bias compensation strategies that can easily be cleaned up by just focusing on making a straight line from the heels to the head. #cspfamily #trx #trxsuspensiontrainer @jason.jabour #sportsperformance #SportsMedicine
