In my opinion RDLs are one of the best posterior chain developers. They also are one of the best exercises for teaching a proper hip hinge. Here is HOP baseball athlete @josiah.wilson16 mastering the hip hinge on some RDLs. When Josiah first came in this movement pattern was something that he struggled with. Now after consistently getting stronger, gaining more proprioception and learning correct hip extension he has become proficient at it. It s a tribute to all the hard work and consistency he puts in.
