“Boundaries” is a word I’m confused about
It was bad for my emotional health when I had no boundaries , but it seems to ruin relationships when I’m making a big deal about every little thing and setting boundaries when someone else really didn’t mean anything by what they said or did , people seem super turned off to me if I’m overly direct , keeping my space completely closed off with boundaries. I get that , why would they want to try harder to get know someone who doesn’t seem open ? I’m not so much talking about “sexual boundaries” those seem to me like they should be clear I am referring to emotional
But I also don’t want to be so free and open that people walk all over me. Because I am so kind hearted
This has been a struggle for me , I saw a therapist who told me I needed to set stronger boundaries & I noticed no one wanted to be around me when I started 😳 now I’m so confused, what if someone says something & really didn’t mean anything?
I want to form strong bonds with people when I move to my new city and am struggling with the idea of being kind & open to new friendships but trying to set boundaries? I didn’t intend for everyone to be turned off to me when I started boundary setting #mentalhealth #healthy #boundaries #wellness

Early mornings mean protein overnight oats. Recipe 👇
*1/2 cup oats
*1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice *1 Tbsp cacao powder *1 serving of protein powder *1/2 cup cottage cheese *fruit of your choice (here I used blackberries, kiwi, and banana
1. Mix the oats, almond milk, cacao powder, and protein powder in a mason jar.
2. Layer the cottage cheese and fruit on top of the oat mixture.
3. Refrigerate overnight (at least 6 hours)

Super easy mix and match plate for dinner last night🍽 roasted potato circles seasoned with salt, pepper & rosemary, roasted paprika carrots, feta, kidney beans (to make sure I get some protein), wholemeal pesto pasta with tomatoes and broccoli and finally, half a yellow pepper roasted & filled with Mediterranean cous cous👏🏼👏🏼Trying to cut down on my snacking this week as I've been such a pig lately so making my meals more filling in the hope that I don't reach for some chocolate every second of the day🙄
